Bene, the international expert for innovative office furniture, announces that Florian Löhle has been appointed Sales Director for Germany and Executive Board Member for the German company, as of 1 November 2017. Löhle, together with Michael Fried, Executive Board Member for Germany and Group Executive Board Member for Sales, Marketing and Innovation, will be responsible for continuing growth in Germany.
At Focus Open 2017, the Baden-Württemberg International Design Awards, Bene just received the ‘Focus Gold’ for the outstanding design quality of its PIXEL product line. Thus, Bene has once again won the most prestigious prize at this renowned ceremony, after winning in 2010 for PARCS. Following the nomination for the Austrian National Design Award in 2017, this is already the second recognition for Bene’s latest innovation. Having won more than 130 awards in recent years, the international office furniture specialists continue to impress year after year with their flair for design and innovation.
The Salone del Mobile.Milano, one of the world’s largest and most important furniture and design trade fairs, is an annual highlight of Milan’s event calendar. This year Bene made the versatility of its latest innovation, “PIXEL by BENE”, tangible and impressed visitors with its pioneering concepts for do-it-yourself rooms that inspire creative thinking. The Salone, which this year took place between 4–9 April and drew more than 300,000 visitors, offered over 200,000 m2 of exhibition space to some 2,000 international firms and high-end brands.
New Year celebrations at the innovation hub Living Tomorrow, in Brussels, included the opening of Bene’s newest showroom for the modern work environment, on 26 January. This means the Austrian office furnishing experts can now make their research on new forms of work available to a wide audience, together with design ideas for implementing them in the offices of the future.
The world’s first ever office building produced using a 3D printing process was opened at a glamourous ceremony yesterday evening in Dubai in the presence of about 50 invited guests and partners, including His Excellency Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs & the Future in the Federal Government of the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Saif Al Aleeli, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundatin, and other prestigious guests. Bene was responsible for the interior design and concept development at the “Office of the Future”. The international office furniture expert furnished the building at the invitation of the Dubai government, with innovative furniture and a futuristic innovation area, the BENE IDEA LAB.
On the evening of the ORGATEC opening, the international furniture manufacturer Bene presented its new product lines DELTA, T-PANEL and PIXEL for the first time. These innovations are a direct follow-up on the product ranges that the Austrian company introduced in the spring – FRAME_S, NOOXS Think Tanks and SETTLE – and underline its strong position as a visionary in the industry. At the presentation in Cologne last night, the international industry audience was very enthusiastic.
A gala event was held in Bene’s flagship store yesterday to present the winning projects from the “2A Asia Architecture Award 2016”, and honour the prize-winners. This is the first time that the prestigious award, for architecture projects in Asia, has been presented in Vienna.
