This has several health-related consequences, such as tension, back and neck pain, reduced performance, fatigue, and lack of concentration and motivation. The causes of such problems are frequently a lack of movement and sitting for long periods of time. To counter this lack of movement, the international office furniture specialist Bene offers height-adjustable tables and flexible office environments, to help workers keep their bodies and minds moving.
Effective immediately, the international office furniture expert Bene is supporting a project which aims to give children and young people a playful introduction to the topic of digitalisation: Otelo futurespace – the digital playground. The project’s opening week launches on 4 April 2018 at the ARS Electronica Center in Linz, followed by a two-week tour of schools in Upper Austria, beginning on 9 April 2018. As funding partner, Bene is providing the project with a total of 120 PIXEL modules.
PIXEL continues to collect international design awards: the prestigious trade magazine “Das Büro” (“The Office”) just selected Bene’s flexible components for the design of multifunctional furniture settings as the “#1 office product 2018”. Following Focus Gold, German Design Award and iF Design Award in Gold a few days ago, this is already the fourth accolade for the innovative product line which Bene first presented in 2017.
PIXEL, the flexible module for designing multifunctional furniture settings by Bene, received the Gold iF Design Award on Friday, 9 March 2018. Following the RF wall in 2008 and TIMBA table in 2015, Bene has now received this prestigious award for the third time. The latest product line – STUDIO by Bene – was also a winner at the iF Design Awards. These design awards once again highlight the excellent design quality of Bene products.

At Focus Open 2017, the Baden-Württemberg International Design Awards, Bene just received the ‘Focus Gold’ for the outstanding design quality of its PIXEL product line. Thus, Bene has once again won the most prestigious prize at this renowned ceremony, after winning in 2010 for PARCS. Following the nomination for the Austrian National Design Award in 2017, this is already the second recognition for Bene’s latest innovation. Having won more than 130 awards in recent years, the international office furniture specialists continue to impress year after year with their flair for design and innovation.
Tuesday evening, the international office furniture experts Bene presented PIXEL, the latest member of its product range, in front of an audience of over 200 invited guests at its flagship store in Vienna. PIXEL is made up of boxes made from unprocessed pine plywood, which enable countless different configurations for creative interior design, thereby forming the basis for a new corporate meeting culture.
Bene has recently been honoured with this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, and can now be counted among the prize winners of this renowned design label. The prize was awarded for the upholstery line SETTLE, released in early 2016. The iF DESIGN AWARD is presented annually by the Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, Germany’s oldest independent design institution.
Bene’s FRAME_S product has been awarded the ICONIC AWARDS 2017: Interior Innovation – Winner by the German Design Council. Bene has already won a number of big prizes this year, such as the German Design Award and the International Identity Design Award. Now, Bene has once again come out ahead of its international competitors as an international expert in pioneering office furniture thanks to the quality and strength of its designs. The Interior Innovation award will be presented at the imm cologne 2017 in Cologne in January.
