Passion for good food – this is the slogan used by Aryzta, an international frozen foods and bakery products group with headquarters in Zurich. Passion for good design – could also be the motto for the design of their new corporate offices: High quality materials, a clear design idiom and the latest technology provide a working environment of the finest standard throughout.

Aryzta is a Swiss company that resulted from the merger of the Swiss Hiestand Holding AG and the Irish IAWS Group plc. in 2008. With its 23 production locations in 15 countries plus 111 marketing organisations Aryzta has a geographical coverage extending from Europe to North America and from Southeast Asia to Australia. Over 8000 employees worldwide make this group the global market leader in its field.


Passion for good design

Commitment to quality pervades all areas at Aryzta: The workstations in the generously dimensioned offices are all equipped with the Bene Management Programme P2. The natural properties of wood as a material, the clear structural design and versatility achieved create both the configurations desired and a pleasant atmosphere for concentrated work and communication. The management offices convey a representational effect, while the individual and combined offices are generously dimensioned.

The conference rooms are outstandingly well equipped: with a focus on the elegant "Filo" table designed by EOOS. The "Filo" table not only ensures the latest technology, but also conveys a feel in visual terms of the peace and quiet that are essential for a concentrated conference.


Office in a cornfield

The colour accents in the "brightening" back-lit screens with cornfield motifs have a refreshing effect: they establish a clear reference to Aryzta products, and generate a lively sense of what the company activities are ultimately based upon.

Cooperating closely with the architect, Bene created a concept for the entire office area which is perfectly tuned to the Aryzta requirements and also to the structure of the building. Bene implemented a single source office furnishing solution, from reception through all the zones and areas and down to the company restaurant. Roland Meier of Aryzta confirmed how pleasing the result has proved: "Using the finest materials, elegant design idiom and the latest technology a working environment has been created for us in which we feel very comfortable."
