Bene Headquarters
In the heart of communication.
Communication is becoming more and more important. Office furniture provider Bene provides space for a new cultural paradigm by furnishing ample, multi-purpose meeting zones in its head office in Waidhofen/Ybbs. The spotlight is on a glass cube with unmatched quality of design, transparency and acoustics for presentations and meetings. Upon entering the company headquarters in Waidhofen/Ybbs, Lower Austria, a building designed by architect Laurids Ortner in the 1990’s that won Bene the famous "Bauherrenpreis" award in corporate design, the visitor will immediately note that office design is state-of-the-art here – which is to be expected from an expert in office interiors, and which involves frequent remodelling. A recent remodelling project concerns the ground floor: When visitors pass by the reception, they immediately see in front of them an extensive, well-structured office landscape organised into various zones dedicated to different kinds of communication. The entire zone is multiple-purpose and serves both employees and Management, clients and guests. The other end of the "bow", the characteristic name given to the rounded structure (derived from b like bene), contains a wall which hides ample room and facilities for trainings and seminars.
Glass cubicle for formal meetings The innovative Bene RF Cubicle dominates as a straight object, a space within the space that affords ease and calm to the centre and clear structure to perimeter zones. A striking new feature of the RF partitioning system is the emphasis given to a horizontal design principle and almost seamless, plane surface bonding of the glass. There is no need for any vertical frames as stylish aluminium pilasters not only are characteristic design features but also perform a load-bearing function. The Cubicle contains AL Media Room and integrated A/V technology for high-tech presentations, meetings and conferences. A high-end meeting room as a built statement on corporate philosophy, a sign of transparency, communication and collaboration. The double-glazed RF provides a breath-taking acoustic experience: Inside, you are protected from all the noise outside – and vice versa.
Ample space for recreation and exchange Bar, Coffice, Stand-up Eating, Restaurant / Meetings: These multiple, differently styled zones for various forms of communication – ranging from casual to formal – or recreation are located next to each other on the ground floor. While each of these areas boasts a character of its own, its entirety creates a stimulating and very distinctive, trendy atmosphere. All this is accentuated by a light green wall colour (which adds a fresh touch), the floral pattern of the upholstery fabric of Bene’s Rondo shell chair, the Gubi bar stools, Bene’s Coffice seating furniture and the "stand-up eating" area, an invigorating array of tables and benches of a height between standing and sitting. Power and computer connections are available for those who wish to stay longer and work. Indeed, it is no problem downloading the corporate spirit in this place.
