Bene heading for Asia: CompactOffice in Japan
Bene now ventures into the Far East in making work, communication and life in the office easy and effective: Bene's philosophy and design-oriented approach have met with so much acceptance by customers in the Asian region that Kokuyo Co. Ltd., Japan's largest manufacturer of office furniture, has decided to enter into a distribution partnership agreement with Bene. This partnership agreement is yet another affirmation of the Austrian company's enormous success throughout Europe as expert in creating office environments: Bene's unique design approach and innovative office layouts have now generated interest world-wide.
Back in 2002 at the Orgatec office furniture trade fair celebrated in Cologne, Germany, Japan's largest manufacturer and dealer of office furniture was first to approach Bene. Kokuyo thus initiated a promising partnership which has now been sealed: Bene awarded a licence to its Japanese exclusive partner for the marketing of the CompactOffice concept and of a selected, premium product range which appeals to a design-conscious clientele.
"Bene is the best European partner we can think of to cater to Japan's top segment", says Tsukasa Ozaki, President of Kokuyo Co, Ltd..
This partnership allows Bene to position the company in the Asian office market as an innovative and optimistic business with a holistic approach, while benefiting from the opportunities the large Asian market has to offer.
