Bene wins 2 Red Dots for AL_Group and Coffice
We are pleased to inform you that the North Rhine Westphalia Design Centre has awarded us the Red Dot for high quality design of two of our products:
the AL_Group (Design: Kai Stania) received the red dot award: product design for high design quality, while Coffice (Design: Johannes Scherr) was awarded a Red Dot in the "best-selection:office design" category.
The Red Dot Award figures among the oldest and most coveted international design competitions world-wide.The North Rhine Westphalia Design Centre in Essen, Germany, has awarded the "red dot" quality certificate to outstanding design quality annually since 1955.
An international jury consisting of 26 experts from nine countries selected 339 out of 1,494 products from 28 countries, awarding them the "red dot". Thirty three products received the "red dot: best of the best" qualification.
The award-winning works will be exhibited from July 1 to 28 at the special "Design Innovation 2003 - red dot award:product design" exhibition to be held at the Essen red dot museum in the former coal mine "Zeche Zollverein", now a world cultural heritage site. Covering 4,000 square metres in floor space and housing more than 1,000 pieces, the red dot museum is home to the largest permanent exhibition of contemporary design worldwide.
