Bene’s recent partnership with the SILVERA trading house has now made buying Bene’s products possible in Paris as well.A young and dynamic company selling contemporary furnishings from more than 100 French and international collections, Silvera was established in 1991 by Paul and Fabienne Silvera.
The showroom near Champs Elysées, covering 1,000 m² of exhibition space, 300 m² of "living showroom", a documentary library and a planning office, is the largest of its kind in the greater Paris area.
Silvera relies on a logistics centre that covers more than 1,200 m² in floor space and is situated in Vitry-sur-Seine, an eastern Paris suburb.
The average age of the company’s 49-member staff is 35 years.
In business year 2002, sales amounted to EUR 15 million, 25 % of which was in home furnishing and 75 % in office and institutional furnishing.
Silvera’s themed events, organised in their showroom several times a year, feature individual brands or designers and attract customers, journalists, architects and manufacturers alike.
Key accounts include GlaxoSmithKline, Boston Consulting Group, the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Air France, LVMH and PSA.
Projects completed jointly with Bene include the offices of Air France, Novartis, Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, Takasago, Banque Fortis and the Austrian Embassy in Paris.
