The Neigungsgruppe Design – Tulga Beyerle, Thomas Geisler and Lilli Hollein – bears a certain athletic spirit, not only in its logo. The three founded the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK on their own initiative in 2006, and it was quick to establish itself as a well-visited, international and successful festival. The 2010 VIENNA DESIGN WEEK runs from 1-10 October.
We like to do our work well and properly, but the most important thing is that we and our team all enjoy our work. The right song can help us here – one to get through the afternoon low, another to relax amid the pre-festival craziness or to help us tune the world out with our headphones in the midst of a teeming open plan office. During the festival, music plays an even more important role than usual: lots of parties, the daily DJ lounge at Café Dreschler and the unconditional recommendation to wear dancing or running shoes during the festival days.
