As second biggest Russian mineral oil group and sixth biggest stock quoted oil group worldwide, Lukoil counts among the leading companies of the international oil, gas and energy business with a network of more than 6,000 petrol stations worldwide. For its new branch in Prague, Lukoil asked the architect Bohumil Bárta to develop an office concept, which includes individual design in combination with highest flexibility.

Furthermore, the whole object should be outstanding thanks to extraordinary innovation and quality of its technical equipment. Uncompromising high state-of-the-art requirements, which Bohumil Bárta meets, amongst others, through the complex, fully integrated audio-video technology of the office and meeting rooms or also through a sophisticated lighting system.

Beside the consistent functional elegance, the design concept for the offices is mainly characterised by the selective use of the Lukoil corporate colour red on wall surfaces, panels and other elements. The high representative significance of the recreation areas for the employees was underlined by the creation of Japanese gardens. For this project, the financing of the office space was similarly exceptional as the office architecture: Bene could ensure the financing in cooperation with the leasing company of BAWAG as an operating leasing.
