Project Description:
Transparency and mobility define working structures in the new office building of the Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG in Wiesbaden.
In direct proximity to the inner city of the Hessian state capitol and set in the surroundings of the Kurpark, DePfa’s new offices make an urban statement.
Co-operation between management, architect, furniture producer and staff produced a flexible space concept that is perfectly in keeping with the requirements of DePfa’s complex range of finance and service products. The high quality of interior design, from smoked oak parquet floors to modern workstations, and a thoroughly thought out directional system, offers an open and friendly welcome to employees as well as visitors in this client-oriented customer service firm.
Intelligent space division and coordinated design of the work environment and work processes result from the analysis of the dynamic and organisational structure of the firm.
Macro-Layout In the interior of DePfa, a transparent workscape reveals itself along floor to ceiling glazed halls. Flooded with light and friendly.
Open for communication, optimal information exchange and work process synergy.
On one hand, the inner flexibility of the space is achieved through the glazed walls that can be moved at any time to create new room structures.
On the other hand, the intelligent arrangement of technical supply cables for electrical, light and temperature regulation allow for utmost flexibility.
They run under the oak parquet between a double floor with moveable floorboards.
Micro-Layout The central element of each office and focal point of the development of micro-layout continues to be the desk.
Modern desks have taken on mobility in response to ergonomic concerns, which explains the reason why Bene’s Lift Desk is part of the DePfa office furnishings.
The table is fully adjustable to whatever height is required and can be used either standing or sitting.
The Bene Skater completes this mobile workstation, as small side mobile unit with numerous characteristics that can serve as additional shelf surface, a small desk and even standing lectern. Fitted with castors, it is always ready for a change of position.
Both Bene’s B2 table, used in the project workrooms at DePfa, and the Lift Table, for small standing or seated meeting groups, are also fitted with castors.
