COMPLETION NEWS:
COLOUR AND FORM ANIMATE NEW DELOITTE TOUCHE WORKSPACE

Bespoke new offices have just been completed in Cambridge, for professional services firm, Deloitte & Touche LLP. The design, by architect Clive Pereira at TTSP, floods the environment with 21st century light, colour and form.

Deloitte’s corporate colour palette was used to distinguish the Tax and Audit departments on each side of the building, creating a truly branded environment. Deft, symmetric flashes of colour were designed into walls and surfaces, resulting in an visually animated and stimulating workspace.

"Deloitte needed offices that would accurately reflect their profile with a certain lightness of touch," says Clive Pereira. "The design had to allow for a highly mobile workforce as well as flexibility and adaptability between regional offices so custom furniture was the most likely option. At tender stage, Bene presented the 1600 x 900 modules that were aesthetically the most pleasing and came with the highest quality manufacture."

Within a short lead-time, Bene made various adaptations to suit client needs; screens and workstations are height adjustable and incorporate special flip-top access points to gang power and data on the desks. The Bene B3 System with horizontal ribbed low-level screens work together with other enhanced features such as the special flatscreen arm, telephone shelf and dual function whiteboard/pinboard.

Andy Swarbrick, Deloitte Cambridge Senior Partner commented: "TTSP and Bene worked closely with our in house team to come up with an imaginative and aesthetically satisfying solution that helps promote our passion for quality and professionalism. We are delighted with the results"

This close collaboration between client and architect, architect and manufacturer resulted in an office environment that is as progressive as the firm it serves.
