The firm works in neither the traditional office nor the classic exhibition space; instead, it implements an innovative concept: the Design Café. As a lively public space, the pleasant Design Café signals what Erden has achieved: Design of the best kind.
Experience Design
The discreet facade allows a glimpse into the Design Café’s interior through large windows. The 180m² multifunctional space invites people into its colourful friendly atmosphere to socialise and lounge about. As a meeting point and communications centre for architects, designers and coffee lovers, the space is notable for both its overall impression and its details.
Ambience with a Unique Signature
One of the rooms looks like a pleasant living room full of nooks and crannies with colourful furniture from the Parcs series. Parcs Causeways, among others, were used to partition the space. Small display cases that present colourful objects like toys as design elements are integrated in the furniture modules and tables. A climbing plant weaves itself around a funnel-shaped mesh in the middle of the room. The inspiring environment encourages casual communication. Parcs Wing Chairs offer highly comfortable options for privacy.
A small but modern-equipped meeting room on the gallery can be used for business meetings and presentations. The meeting room is separated from the bar area below in two ways: acoustically by a glass wall and visually by Vertical Waves room dividers from Silent Gliss. It contains Bene Rondo chairs, which appeal with their organic shapes and sculptural quality as well as their high degree of comfort. The design shows an immaculate sense of style, setting additional accents that flow harmoniously into the overall design.
The Design Café reveals itself to be a young and inspiring place that lives up to its name.
