Bene EAT ART 2008. London.

Once again, Bene has invited London based architects and design practises to take part in the creative EAT ART competition. Each entrant team was given 3 trays of gingerbread sheets to work with considering the theme of ‘Ingredients for Change’.

The winner of the light-hearted competition was announced at the EAT ART Awards Night on 4 December, winning prizes presented by Bene, B-Loose and Offecct. The judges included Tom Lloyd (Pearson and Lloyd), celebrity chef Tom Wolfe and Vicky Richardson, editor of Blueprint magazine.

The jury was impressed by the outstanding quality of the entries: "It is impressive how intensely the participants dealt with the topic - both in terms of creating a concept and implementing the design. A lot of time and resources have been invested in creating these objects."
