The Brightest Light in Design
Bene has won the prestigious “Design Week Award 2010” in London in the “Furniture” category for its “Filo Table” conference table line, designed by EOOS.The award is in the form of a light bulb as a symbol for a clear head, a brilliant idea and its realisation – and was presented to Bene on 2 March in London. The "Filo Table" series from the Austrian design team EOOS was named the best piece of furniture at this international top-class design award.
This puts Bene in the category of product design in line with companies such as Apple, Established & Sons, Microsoft and Xerox, measuring itself successfully against the best companies in the world to win this prize: one of the most prestigious international annual distinctions.
Filo Table – reduced to the essential
Lightness and elegance were the original design ideas that have found expression in this table. The Filo Table is a solitary design object.
Filo is more than just a conference table: it is an innovative, convincing table ensemble for discussions and conferences. The modular composition can be extended as required and can be individually adapted to any spatial situation.
Together with the Filo Chair, also by EOOS, this furniture ensemble has the potential to become a classic with its style and technical consistency - and its significance has been underlined by the award.
