Dear Reader.

A completely different life – who hasn’t dreamt of that? At least from time to time, especially in the summer? The endless free days, a yearning for adventure and for being outside in nature make us long for a scenario that offers, at least for a short while, something completely different – preferably with the level of comfort we are used to. How about spending the summer on a boat?

In our series on living spaces, we’ve been "boarding" yachts and boats. We explored these floating vehicles and took a look at the opportunities they offer designers – and found they offer more luxury than adventure, adventurous luxury!

Burkhard List has a few things to say on the topic. Elegant yachts leave the shipyard with interior design à la List. Of course we also wanted to know whether or not he has a yacht himself? Read all about it in our office personality interview.
