Dear Reader,

"A museum is certainly a special kind of workplace", writes Verena Formanek, Senior Project Manager for the new Guggenheim Abu Dhabi in an email interview for this Bene Trendletter. Reason enough to take a closer look this time at this special place: the museum. For more on the topic, read our article, which is also the kickoff of our new series, "Living Spaces".

In line with this theme, the first Office.Playlist for 2011 comes from a museum man: Wolfgang Kos, Director of the Wien Museum and founder of Popmuseum, a radio programme that became legendary in Austrian radio on the Ö3 channel.

Our project takes you back to the beginnings in Kuwait, to the booming region of the Middle East. Which means that we aren’t museum-like at all; we’re already in the thick of 2011. But nonetheless, there's no looking forward without looking backwards.
