What is Pecha Kucha
?

Pecha Kucha 20x20 is a fast-paced, interactive presentation style, in which viewers are shown 20 slides for a duration of 20 seconds each, whilst the presenter talks along side.
Devised in Tokyo in February 2003 the name draws on the Japanese term for the sound of ‘chit chat’. The first ever Pecha Kucha 20x20 took place as an event for young designers to meet, network and show their work in public. For more information, visit here www.pecha-kucha.org.

On the evening, your slides will be displayed on our screens within Cool Workspace and you will take to the floor to narrate along side. Guests will start to arrive to our stand from 4.45pm with Pecha Kucha officially commencing at 5.15pm. Please could you arrive at 4.30pm.

After Pecha Kucha there will be an opportunity for guests to network over drinks and canapés. The evening will wrap up at around 6.30/45pm.

Theme: Electric Dreams and Nightmares

We have all experienced what we perceive to be good and bad working environments? What contributes to this? This light-hearted session is about people putting forward their dream and nightmare workspaces in 20 images over 20 seconds? They can be fictional or real, cover whole spaces or just elements like toilets, soft furnishings or layout. The aim is to understand what people think of when they are asked to describe their worst and best working environments.
