PORTFOLIO: TOGUNA
The smallest conference room in the world.
The Toguna is the most striking: a circular, half-open shape, free-standing in the space. Acoustically screened, the Toguna is a space for brainstorming, short meetings or discussions that require intense concentration. People can sit or stand in it. When someone enters the Toguna, they are right in the middle of the action.
The idea for the Toguna comes from Mali in West Africa, where it is a gathering place for village elders to take their decisions.
