Bene product news at Orgatec 2012: Choose the place you need
Vienna/Waidhofen, August 2012: Bene is making a decisive step forward with its office design at this year’s Orgatec, presenting the modern office world as a living urban environment with "me" and "we" places. New to the Bene portfolio and featured at Cologne this October: DOCKLANDS, the alternative workstation concept for temporary activities; and CUBE_S, fixed, modular workstations with integrated storage space.
Smart Working
The trend from recent years continues: Today’s professional world is dominated by rapidly changing needs, by mobility – and ideally, by flexible corporate structures. The sheer diversity of tasks undertaken places great demands on the quality of the workplace environment. Today’s offices are living spaces – akin to an urban environment where diverse zones and areas accommodate the various activities of the users. They are as unique and varied as the tasks and corporate cultures – with open structures, flexible zones, and a highly efficient use of space.
Bene’s smart working concept is the perfect realization of the trend toward greater communication, collaboration, and the growing importance of knowledge work in the office. Back in 2009, Bene collaborated with the London-based design practice PearsonLloyd to develop the idea of differentiated zones for communication and cooperation, when it launched the innovative PARCS series. PARCS went on to win various prizes and is now among the most successful products in the Bene portfolio.
From PARCS to DOCKLANDS
The next stage will be presented at this year’s Orgatec: DOCKLANDS is the new, alternative workstation concept for temporary activities. A "me" place that supports concentrated, focused activity – providing personal and acoustic privacy. The DOCKLANDS elements are high-quality furniture with an engaging design, providing an anchoring point for employees and visitors alike. Power and network integration enable easy plug & play, and accessories such as lighting and coat hooks give a sense of personal space.
In the cockpit with CUBE_S
The second highlight at Orgatec 2012 is CUBE_S - the smart work and storage modules from Bene. CUBE_S makes a statement with a new quality of stationary fixed workstation; it gives an effective structure to your workspace, and provides enough flexibility for your own customized workstation layout. The combination of desk and storage space transforms your workstation into a cockpit, with all the necessary tools and documents at your fingertips. Variable heights and storage elements create customizable options for privacy without disturbing the transparency of the room.
"We are constantly enhancing our product portfolio and always seeking solutions for innovative office concepts. The PARCS family of products has provided a comprehensive solution for the needs of the modern professional world. PARCS enables office communication that transcends traditional workstation formats and supports creativity and dialogue in any enterprise," says Dr. Wolfgang Neubert, Bene Managing Director of Sales & Marketing. "At this year’s Orgatec, we present the next generation of contemporary office environments: DOCKLANDS – high-quality workstations for focused temporary activities that take concepts such as flexible working and the non-territorial office to the next level. We also present CUBE_S – efficient, stationary workstation solutions. Our products offer a broad spectrum for the various work typologies and enable fully customized office environments to suit the individual needs of the user and the work situation," says Neubert, offering a sneak peek at this year’s Orgatec highlights from Bene.
