A customised office.
For the Paris-based financial institution of 3I Bene developed a furnishing concept that will be implemented globally to represent the company. The solution is an open office. 3I, the globally operating investment specialist, is one of the leading companies for private equity und venture capital. 3I employs 250 financial experts in 14 countries on three continents. The Paris-based team just moved to the new headoffice in the city centre. Bene developed a global furnishing concept for 3I that reflects 3I’s values of performance, vision and mission in the best way possible.
The company managed by chief executive Phillip Rea looks back on a 60 year long success story. Over the last three years alone, 3I has conducted more than 550 trade sales and listed more than 40 companies at 15 international stock exchanges. New challenges and increasing tasks prompted the Paris-based team with 56 staff members to move into a new office. The building is located in the eight arrondissement in Paris and is a perfect base thanks to its central location.
International from A to Z. The client requested a furnishing concept that can be used globally to adequately represent the company. International service provided by one source was equally important to 3I.
To present the flat hierarchy and open-mindedness of the company Bene developed together with the Paris-based architectural office of ISOTOP a customised office solution. Jean-Dominique Montandon, Isotop, commented on the project, "The global appearance of 3I is embodied by transparency, the perfect functionality of desks in an open office and privacy in meeting rooms. The office technology has been perfectly integrated."
Love of detail. To present the modern corporate culture all work stations were designed uniformly in an open office layout. The office tract was structured into open individual areas with transparent dividing walls, while corridor walls were avoided. The workstations are furnished with X9 tables and L2 drawer pedestals. K2 cabinets store personal files at work and serve as meeting spots in a block configuration. Large fan lights with single glazing emphasise the generous ambience, light colours place friendly accents.
Altogether seven meeting and conference rooms are available in various sizes for 3I staff – from small meeting rooms for four people to large conference rooms facilitating up to 20 people. The meeting rooms were furnished with mobile M_Com tables, offering a maximum of flexibility.
The corridor wall lining reveals intricate details: Bene provided customised wall elements to meet customer needs for a special joint pattern. 3I is thrilled with the outcome.
