As one of the country’s most important financial institutions and as largest bank of Slovakia, the Slovenska Sporitelna is not only closely connected to Austria due to its geographical proximity.
Founded in 1841 as branch of the Erste Österreichische Sparkasse, the Slovenska Sportitelna is nowadays again part of the ‘Erste Group’. Likewise, the selection of the famous Viennese architect’s practise Jabornegg & Palffy for the bank’s new headquarters underlines the bridging of the two neighbour cities Vienna and Bratislava.
With regards to the rapidly changing cityscape of Bratislava, the architects defined the urban building through clear lines. For the interior design, representation of the company and high quality were the primary requirements for the equipment of the ultra modern main building.
Beside the creation of top quality furnished executive offices, priority attention was given to the optimisation of the workstations for the employees and the installation of lounge zones, which seem to be transparent and light as well as timeless.
The ambitious ambience was mainly realised by the Bene AL_Group programme and the Filo chair series as well as a harmonic subtle colour concept in black, grey and white.
