The effect of colours on well-being is often underestimated. Many important characteristics such as concentration, aggression, communication and clear thinking are strongly influenced by colours. Bene has utilised these insights and developed four new colour concepts for its material and colour range, based on the latest social trends: Bene Spectrum.
Colours and materials are important design qualities of furniture concepts – even in the office. High-grade materials convey a pleasant atmosphere while the colours define how an environment affects people. Depending on the tonality and intensity, colours can have a soothing, gentle and pleasant effect, or they can be activating, bright and cool. As an internationally leading provider of the design and furnishing of office and working environments, Bene has focused on colours and materials from an early stage and uses them to help give its customers an identity-creating, ground-breaking and inspiring presence.
With Bene Spectrum, the four colour concepts for its material and colour range, the international office furniture specialist is picking up on the latest social trends and using them as an inspiration for atmospheric colour schemes and a guide for new colour designs. Bene has thus developed a consistent and versatile colour and material system that is ideally suited for designing modern offices: URBAN FOREST, SILENT ELEGANCE, PURE SENSE and GRAPHIC CITY. The applied material and colour spectrum shows contemporary surfaces and colour components that are perfectly harmonised with each other and depict international trends. By presenting the new Bene Spectrum, Bene once again demonstrates its design competence and role as an inspiring office furniture manufacturer.
“The new colour concepts from Bene inspire ideas and and improve the performance of the people working in the office. This creates a workplace setting in which the joy of work is paramount and where innovative ideas are developed, thus improving the quality of the company,” says Michael Fried, Bene’s Executive Board Member for Sales, Marketing and Innovation, to explain how the power of colours can impact the corporate culture and value.
Bene spectrum – four colour concepts for inspiring office landscapes
Using saturated green and brown tones as a base, enhanced with urban grey, the colour concept URBAN FOREST forms a bridge between nature and the city. Green and brown have a grounding effect on the work while grey provides an urban element and suggests an intertwining of city and nature. White and yellow accents bring a dynamic element into the office.
Suggesting the anonymity in the city, the colour concept SILENT ELEGANCE focuses on a deliberate reduction. It employs materials that have different structures, in minimalistic ways. Black tones occupy the space without dominating it. Grey, green and yellow tones add a lively element and create a modern setting in the office landscape.
PURE SENSE is based on the frequently observed search for balance. To create a familiar “sense of place”, Bene uses soft, flowing shapes and pleasant colours. This colour concept is based on white and beige, which represent tranquillity and elegance. As the accent colour, blue stands for mental calmness and clarity, while grey and white mottled patterns liven up the setting. The colour range is rounded off by delicate red hues to express authenticity and passion.
With GRAPHIC CITY, Bene shows the strongest colours. They symbolise the power and dynamism of the modern city. Black and grey provide structure and create a timeless foundation. Strong blues and yellows make the office feel more lively. Brown tones and untreated wood symbolise the city’s state of constant incompleteness. As a contrasting colour, white has a subtle brightening effect on the office.
