Everyone has heard of TOYOTA. However, not as many people know that TOYOTA also manufacture lift trucks and forklifts. Material Handling is a large company sector that has a correspondingly large network and needs a suitable amount of space for its employees. In a 3,000 m2 space in Belgium, an office setting was created that provides everything needed for work, meetings and breaks. The commissioned architects Be-Koz Interior Design developed the overall concept for this with Bene products.
A total of 250 workstations had to be furnished. The open office areas were fitted out with the LIFT DESK TWIN. The height-adjustable double workstation combines the advantages of WORKBENCH and TWIN DESK. It promotes communication and teamwork whether sitting or standing. This encourages continuous movement, not just for the products from TOYOTA Material Handling but also the staff themselves. CUBE_S module cabinets were selected to give everyone enough storage and surface space. They also provide visual screening, offering privacy and the possibility of undisturbed work, even in an open-plan office. Personal items can be stowed securely in the Personal Lockers. The individual offices also have everything you need. Not too much, not too little. Convenient Lift Desks, ergonomic armchairs, discreet storage space and the option to hold small meetings.
At a company where the meeting culture is a high priority, it was especially important to make sure that many different spaces and rooms were available for discussions in both large and small groups. Delta by Bene high desks with high chairs promote a relaxed atmosphere for exchange. SETTLE sofa elements in soft colours and matching upholstered chairs are the cosier option. This provides an inviting ambiance at the office. The Club Table are a good fit here, offering surfaces for drinks or documents.
Here all employees always find exactly the space they need at that moment – for focused work, undisturbed meetings or a quick break.
At this site, Toyota Material Handling Belgium represents the Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) – the global market leader among industrial vehicle manufacturers. Forklifts, components, services and the appropriate customer services are offered here, along with everything else related to intralogistics.
For this project, Bene were challenged with: “how to rethink our way of working, by launching for the first time an open space system,
while maximising the comfort, ergonomics and flexibility of the different groups of employees?” Challenge met 100%.
The Bene team showed real talent in terms of creativity, project management, and control of our budgets.
Thanks to them, our employees particularly appreciated the electric office system from an ergonomic point of view.
