Bene at ORGATEC: Work Environments at the Intersection of People and AI

October 15th, 2026. Vienna / Waidhofen an der Ybbs – Under the theme “Offices. Built for Humans. Powered by AI.,” Bene will showcase at ORGATEC 2026 how the world of work is changing through the interplay of artificial intelligence, people, and space. In addition to the booth concept, the focus is on new and enhanced furniture designed for a variety of work and interaction scenarios.

How will artificial intelligence transform the world of work in the coming years, and what role will physical spaces and furniture play in this transformation? Bene will explore these questions at this year’s ORGATEC in Cologne. The exhibition booth in Hall 6, Booth C-60, is structured across three levels to address this: AI is viewed as a driver of efficiency that supports processes and opens up new possibilities. People remain the key players and contribute creativity, ideas, and social skills. Space creates the conditions necessary for different forms of work to take place.

Spanning approximately 300 square meters, this approach is showcased through six work modes: concentration, collaboration, communication, social interaction, and relaxation, each presented in both indoor and outdoor settings. A variety of furniture and spatial solutions demonstrate how work environments can adapt to changing situations and needs. On display are, among other things, the modular COOMO sofa, the multifunctional PIXEL modular series – presented in color for the first time at ORGATEC – the NOOXS Think Tank, and the POINTS space-defining system.

A key focus is on new solutions for meetings, workshops, and informal exchanges. ONE by Bene, designed by Pearson Lloyd, is a holistic product line initially consisting of a versatile, configurable table system as well as matching chairs and accessories. The system is intended to simplify planning and enable a consistent design across different application scenarios. Another new product being presented is ELEVATED by Bene, designed by Christian Horner. The electrically height-adjustable meeting table is designed for conference rooms and boardrooms and combines a striking design language with planning flexibility.

At ORGATEC, Bene will demonstrate how furniture and space solutions can adapt to a working world in which AI is increasingly becoming part of everyday work life, and highlight the continued importance of physical space for human interaction, creativity, collaboration, and concentration. The connection between people and technology is also visually reflected at the booth: On large screens, Bene employees are transformed using AI-supported live morphing.

To bring the booth concept to life, Bene is collaborating with three partners:

XAL is responsible for the lighting concept and the booth’s lighting. For over 35 years, the company – founded in Graz – has been working with architects, designers and planners to develop bespoke luminaires that combine innovative lighting technology with sophisticated design and aesthetics. Today, XAL operates internationally through 30 subsidiaries.

Vescom contributes upholstery fabrics, curtains and wallcoverings to the colour-coded zones of the trade show booth. The Dutch material manufacturer has been developing and producing material solutions for well-being in professional interiors for more than 50 years, with a commitment to both people and planet.

FORTÉ complements the presentation with media and collaboration technology: The setup features displays ranging from 55 to 136 inches, AI-powered video collaboration devices and wireless presentation. As a full-service provider of media and collaboration technology, including Microsoft Teams Rooms and Places, FORTÉ supports projects from design through delivery and operations with focus on the user experience.

Interested visitors can experience the Bene exhibition booth in person at ORGATEC from October 27th–30th.
