Bene reorganises its management team

Vienna / Waidhofen a. d. Ybbs, September 1, 2026 – Effective September 1, 2026, Patrick Toifl will join Manfred Huber as a member of the management board of Bene GmbH. At the same time, he will form the management board of BGO Holding GmbH together with Manfred Huber and Daniel Erlinger. The current managing director, Michael Fried, will step down from his role at the end of August and will leave the company on September 30 after twelve years of service.

Patrick Toifl has been familiar with Bene and the company’s international project business for many years. His career at Bene began in 2012 in the Planning and Sales Support department. After holding various positions in the project and key account business in Austria, he moved to Dubai, where he initially served as Sales Manager and later as Regional Sales Manager for the MENA region. Since November 2024, Toifl has been responsible for sales in Austria as Director of Sales Austria at BGO Holding. In his new role within the BGO Group, Patrick Toifl will assume responsibility for Sales – with the exception of the German market – Marketing, Product Management, and Innovation. He will also oversee Sales & Technical Support at Bene. He will continue to serve in his previous role as Group Director of Sales Austria.

“I have been connected to Bene, our customers, and our markets for many years. I am all the more excited to now take on additional responsibility and help shape the company’s development as part of the executive board,” says Patrick Toifl.

Effective September 1, the executive board of Bene GmbH will consist of Manfred Huber and Patrick Toifl. BGO Holding GmbH, under whose umbrella Bene is grouped together with hali and Neudoerfler, will be led in the future by Manfred Huber, Patrick Toifl, and Daniel Erlinger. Daniel Erlinger will assume responsibility for sales in Germany. He has been Managing Director and CFO of hali GmbH since 2022 and also leads the group-wide transformation program META2030.

“By taking on responsibility for sales in Germany, I am assuming a new role within the group. I look forward to contributing my experience from various areas and driving further development forward together with our team,” says Daniel Erlinger.

This reorganization also marks the end of Michael Fried’s twelve-year tenure at Bene. Since joining the executive board in 2014, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s development. His areas of responsibility included, in particular, sales, marketing, product management, and innovation & design. Fried also played a key role in establishing the BGO Group. The shareholders thank him for his many years of dedication and his contribution to the company’s development and wish him all the best in his future professional and personal endeavors.

This reorganization takes place against the backdrop of a market environment characterized by changing demands. The new leadership structure therefore combines continuity with strategic strength and a forward-looking focus. As a sales expert and industry specialist, Patrick Toifl brings additional expertise to the management team and is expected to provide new impetus for the group’s further development and long-term competitiveness. The new division of responsibilities also strengthens collaboration among the three companies as well as their joint sales and marketing activities.
