Less noise, more focus: Bene creates quieter workspaces with the new ACOUSTIC range

Quiet workspaces for concentration and efficiency
In response to the growing importance of balanced room acoustics, Bene has expanded its range of acoustically effective solutions. In addition to the established T-Panel ACOUSTIC, which is mounted directly to the desk, the ACOUSTIC range now also includes wall panels and freestanding screens. They absorb sound and reduce disruptive background noise. The screens also provide visual shielding. This makes it possible to create quieter workspaces and clearly defined focus areas within open-plan environments.
The importance of well-designed room acoustics is highlighted by a study commissioned by Bene last year. According to the study, a continuous level of noise can cause stress and tension among employees. Especially in open-plan offices and open spaces, conversations, phone calls and movement sounds can affect concentration, well-being and efficiency. At the same time, open office environments provide space for interaction, teamwork and flexibility. Considering acoustics from the outset therefore helps create work environments in which openness and focused work can coexist.
Acoustic wall panels as design elements
With its new ACOUSTIC wall panels, Bene combines high acoustic performance with individual design options. The highly effective Class A acoustic absorbers are made from a mono-material and covered with a textile cover. Available in square, round or hexagonal shapes, the panels can be adapted to different spatial concepts in terms of size, fabric and colour. The square versions are available in different heights and variable widths, while the round panels come in diameters ranging from 600 to 1,200 millimetres. This turns the acoustic elements themselves into an integral part of the interior design.
The wall panels are also designed for long-lasting and resource-efficient use: the components are not bonded together and can be separated by material type and recycled at the end of the product life cycle.
Smart flexibility: screens for every spatial situation
The freestanding ACOUSTIC screen provides acoustic and visual shielding exactly where it is needed. It can be configured in different widths and heights and used as a stationary solution with fixed feet or as a mobile solution on castors. Several elements can be combined to create customised solutions. Depending on the requirements, this can result in large-scale screens that structure the space, defined focus areas or solutions for printer zones, for example.
Connected directly to the desk as a stable enclosure, the screen can also create a clearly defined retreat area – either with an open design for greater transparency and communication or with comprehensive shielding for focused work. The level of acoustic and visual protection can therefore be tailored to the specific spatial situation and the individual user. A wide range of fabrics and colours provides additional design options. Furthermore, the core material and cover are not bonded together, allowing the cover to be replaced when required and enabling the products to take on a fresh new look again and again over many years.
The Bene ACOUSTIC range combines optimal room acoustics with individual design options that respond to different ways of working and office situations.
