An impressive Bene exhibition at ORGATEC 2026

Workplaces at the intersection of AI and creativity: an impressive Bene exhibition at ORGATEC 2026

03.11.2026. Vienna / Waidhofen a. d. Ybbs – New furniture for meetings and collaboration, greater design freedom with modular systems, and a growing interest in the quality of working environments: at ORGATEC 2026 in Cologne, Bene demonstrated how changing demands on offices – such as those driven by artificial intelligence – can be translated into concrete furnishing solutions. The positive response to the stand confirmed the relevance of these topics for the industry.

The Interplay between AI, People and Space

What role does the physical workspace play when artificial intelligence is increasingly taking over tasks and making processes more efficient? With this question, Bene addressed a key shift in the world of work at ORGATEC. The underlying concept behind the stand design is that AI can support processes and open up new possibilities, whilst human creativity, ideas and social interaction remain at the heart of it all.
The space creates the conditions that enable people to exchange ideas, develop solutions together and work with concentration. With this practical focus in mind, Bene presented new and enhanced products at ORGATEC.

A cohesive design for meeting rooms

One of the key new products was ONE by Bene, a product range for meeting and interaction spaces developed in collaboration with the British design studio Pearson Lloyd. The table system, available in various shapes and configurations, can be adapted to suit different meeting formats – from small team meetings to larger gatherings. The elements all follow a common design and construction philosophy, creating a consistent basis for planning.

With ELEVATED by Bene, the company also unveiled a meeting table designed by Christian Horner. Its strikingly shaped side panels define the silhouette; a range of dimensions and table shapes offer options for various meeting rooms and boardrooms. The optional electric height adjustment allows users to switch between seated and standing meetings. Here, a distinctive design language is combined with requirements arising from the specific use of the furniture.

Modular systems offering greater design flexibility

Bene has also expanded the scope for individual interior design with PIXEL. The modular system was presented for the first time in nine colours. In addition to the characteristic wood finish, this provides further options for colour-coding different areas or coordinating them with a design concept. The individual elements can be used as tables, benches, stools, seating tiers or storage units and can be rearranged as required. This ensures the system remains adaptable to a wide range of usage scenarios.

The product presentation was complemented by, amongst other things, the COOMO modular sofa, the NOOXS Think Tank in its new design with rounded corners, and the POINTS space-defining system. Overall, the solutions demonstrated a range of ways to structure workspaces and tailor them to different requirements – from open collaboration to a private retreat.

Interior design as part of the workplace concept

The design of the stand also demonstrated just how important the interplay between individual elements is for the quality of a working environment. Lighting, textiles, media technology and spatial layout were coordinated with partners XAL, Vescom and FORTÉ. An AI-powered live transformation of Bene staff on large screens visually echoed the central theme and made the interplay between people and technology part of the presentation.

The stand thus took the product presentation a step further in spatial terms: furniture, materials, lighting and technology collectively shape the conditions under which people work and interact with one another. Particularly in the face of increasing digitalisation, the key question therefore remains: how can offices support both focused work and interaction, creativity and collaboration?

“Returning to ORGATEC after 14 years was a special moment for us,” sums up Bene’s Managing Director, Patrick Toifl. “With ONE by Bene, we unveiled a new design by Pearson Lloyd whilst also celebrating 20 years of collaboration. We were particularly pleased with the strong response to our exhibition. It confirms our belief that the office continues to play a central role, albeit with different requirements than in the past. Today, it’s all about striking the right balance between concentration, interaction and socialising. That is precisely what we at Bene aim to achieve by creating the right spaces and solutions.”
