From 27 to 30 October 2026, ORGATEC in Cologne once again became the meeting place for the future of the world of work. Together with our partners, under the overarching theme ‘OFFICES. BUILT FOR HUMANS. POWERED BY AI.’, we presented new perspectives on the future of work and brought to life the various ways of working in the modern office.
Across six zones, we demonstrated how intelligent spatial solutions, well-thought-out furniture design and selected AI tools work together to create new opportunities for productive, creative and collaborative work. For whilst AI takes over routine tasks, speeds up processes and makes knowledge available more quickly, the human side of work is becoming increasingly important. People need spaces for concentration, collaboration, exchange and regeneration – environments that adapt to their needs, rather than the other way round.
In this way, the office of the future becomes a place that enables not only more efficient, but above all better work.

Collab Mode
Collab Mode creates flexible, inspiring spaces that foster creative exchange and encourage people to share perspectives, think together and develop new ideas. Communication Mode
Communication Mode creates flexible spaces for brief, focused discussions – whether spontaneous, face-to-face or in a hybrid format. Well-designed space solutions and smart technologies facilitate straightforward communication, foster connections between people on-site and remotely, and create the right conditions for sharing information and driving decisions forward.
Focus Mode
Focus Mode creates quiet, secluded spaces for concentrated work, deep reflection and tasks that require undivided attention. Well-designed spatial solutions minimise distractions and provide the necessary space for deep thinking, creative problem-solving and undisturbed work.
Recharge Mode Indoor
Recharge Mode creates peaceful havens that invite you to pause, switch off and recharge your batteries. Comfortable furniture, a relaxed atmosphere and a clear separation from the workspace enable you to take deliberate breaks and promote rest and wellbeing – because regeneration is an important prerequisite for sustained performance.
