Baumit is a family-run company with Austrian roots that operates throughout Europe as a leading manufacturer of building materials. As a forward-looking company in the construction industry, Baumit placed the highest demands on the design and spatial planning of the new competence centre.
Light and transparency were key factors in designing the space, to directly support dynamism, team spirit and communication, both for employees and visitors. The building itself made of concrete and glass has a modern feel, whereas the warm wooden accents on the walls create a cozy atmosphere. The inside garden brings a touch of freshness and greenery, which is important for the well-being and creativity of the employees and visitors.
Despite being separated in two functional zones, one dedicated to hosting customers and partners and to holding seminars and trainings, and the other one dedicated to the daily operations, the office design is cohesive and holistic, bringing the same range of comfort for all thanks to high-end furniture, such as our FILO, PORTS and Club Chairs.
A special attention was paid to sustainability and well-being in the workspace when choosing the furniture: our LEVEL LIFT desks convinced with their innovative and functional design and high product intelligence, as well as with their sustainability certificates such as the EU Ecolabel or Blue Angel.
