Success through Modern Design: GEBOL Opens New Headquarters with Innovative Office Design by Bene
GEBOL, a leading specialist in occupational safety based in Upper Austria, set an ambitious goal to expand and optimize its capacities for product development and wholesale. To achieve this, a new, state-of-the-art office building with an attached warehouse and logistics center was constructed in Enns. The new building, completed in early 2023, offers space for 140 workstations across a 22,600 m² area. MOD Architecture was responsible for the design and furnishing of the office and meeting rooms, working in collaboration with the Bene team.
GEBOL’s primary goal was to create a modern, functional, and inspiring workplace that meets the needs of a growing international trading company. The new location was intended not just to handle daily business activities, but also to be a space for creativity, innovation, and collaboration. Choosing Bene as a partner for the office furnishings was a logical step, as the company is known for its high-quality, thoughtfully designed, and aesthetically pleasing office solutions.
Office design and furnishing
Bene provided the entire office furnishings for the new premises, including executive offices, meeting rooms, outdoor areas, and all seating furniture. The company’s colors, anthracite and yellow, which characterize both the facade of the office and logistics building as well as the interior design, were cleverly integrated into the design concept. The furniture, finished in graphite black, creates a clear and structured working environment. Accents were added through the use of yellow fabrics, which were used in both lounge and meeting areas.
Bene implemented the P2 management program. This modular system combines high functionality and quality with the ability for individual customization.
Workplace solutions
The workstations in the new GEBOL building were equipped with Bene’s BASIC workstations, which stand out for their straightforward and structured design. The table frame with rectangular tubing provides legroom in all directions and contributes to the harmonious and friendly atmosphere of the office spaces.
Acoustic and Storage Solutions
Special attention was given to the acoustics and organization of the work areas. Bene’s T-Panels fulfill a variety of functions: they create personal work environments, organize the workspace, provide visual and acoustic shielding, and enable both focused work and cooperation. The K2 storage solutions offer additional functional storage space and contribute to the room’s design with their well-thought-out, modular design. The Planter Boxes, integrated as part of these storage solutions, provide additional privacy and enhance workplace privacy.
Storage units remain important furniture for physical filing in the office. At the same time, they are being rediscovered as space-defining, space-shaping, and acoustically effective furniture. K2 is a well-thought-out, modular office container system that creates a calm frontal appearance even when combining different types of cabinets. K2 offers a clear, reduced design with high stability. The Planter Boxes provide privacy and more personal space.
With the successful completion of the new building in Enns, GEBOL has taken a significant step towards the future. The offices furnished by Bene not only offer optimal working conditions for employees but also promote creativity, collaboration, and innovation. The new location thus provides the ideal environment for the company's continued growth and successful expansion.
