This leading law firm in private wealth, real estate, corporate & commercial and dispute resolution has both a powerful collective purpose and strong focus on being a responsible business.
When moving to a new office, this law firm wanted to be consistent with its values: sustainability was a non-negotiable aspect of the building, which ultimately achieved the prestigious BREEAM Outstanding certification, the highest rating for the sustainable building standard. BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is a leading environmental certification system that assesses the sustainability of buildings, focusing on energy efficiency, resource management, and occupant wellbeing.
Bene contributed significantly to this ambitious project with its low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) certified materials, ensuring a healthier indoor air quality. Additionally, Bene’s products featured sustainable forestry certification, guaranteeing the responsible sourcing of wood, and a high recycled content, supporting the project ‘s eco-friendly objectives.
For the open plan space, Bene proposed their LEVEL Lift desks, which promote ergonomic flexibility, and storage units with integrated planters, enhancing both functionality and biophilic design. These sustainable and innovative solutions were key in meeting the project ‘s stringent BREEAM criteria while creating a modern, efficient workspace.
