The Office of the Future had a construction period of only 17 days. During this time, no concrete was mixed, nor did any chips fall. The building was printed, using a 3-D printer 6 meters high and 46 meters long. Fully functional with electricity, water, telecommunications and air conditioning, it is the first office building in the world to be created in this way.
The interior is just as innovative. The office is both home base for the project team members and a meeting place for international guests. Communication and teamwork are the focus here.
The centerpiece of the facility is Bene's IDEA LAB, a spatial concept that supports workshops and creative work. The central element of the lab is the IDEA WALL, an interactive media wall on which up to seven people can work simultaneously on digital and analog content. In addition, an innovative setting is created from the TIMBA and PARCS furniture families.
Not so long ago, 3D printing was nothing more than a dream. Now that dream is coming true. We have reached a milestone in construction and real estate with the world's first 3D office and an advanced, fully functional structure.
His Highness Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Chairman of the UAE National Committee for Innovation.
The conference room was equipped with FILO and AL, modern furniture systems for pleasant business ambience. PARCS Dock-In Bays offer the possibility for retreat and concentrated work.
Soon to be built next to the Office of the Future is the no less ambitious Museum of the Future - an incubator for ideas, innovation and inspiration. The future, it seems, has already begun. And we at Bene are proud to help usher it in.
