Seeking to free up space, to accommodate more staff in an expansion, this London based asset management company asked Bene to suggest a new office scheme, with the aim of creating a more open and collaborative environment, whilst retaining as much of their existing Bene furniture as possible.
A key requirement of the project was to increase desk capacity and to free up space for staff to meet and collaborate. The existing CUBE_S storage furniture, previously arranged to offer privacy and demark team zones, was removed and repurposed, opening-up the office to enable better communication between the teams. Bene reconfigured the CUBE_S elements, adapting them to fit the new scheme as private lockers and wardrobes for personal items.
New Bene LEVEL Lift desks were implemented, offering greater ergonomic flexibility for users, albeit with a smaller footprint, making way for new collaborative areas, that were furnished with PARCS American Diners.
Single and double occupancy cellular offices were also upgraded with LEVEL Lift and LEVEL Lift Twin desks, integrated seamlessly with W4 Work Wall to provide a harmonious and compact storage system. Each of the private offices were also furnished with an additional storage element, integrated with seating to offer a neat meeting space solution.
Happily, unused desks and storage elements were gifted to a new school in Cameroon, via Bene’s ethical clearance partner, Waste to Wonder. The donation enabled the school to increase their class capacity, and the company received a carbon report, outlining the amount of carbon they had saved by diverting product from landfill.
