Ergonomics as the “new” office movement
Ergonomic considerations and feelgood factors are becoming increasingly important in the world of work, including in co-working spaces and temporary offices – just like in the “FlexUnits” in the TwentyOne quarter, where Bene was tasked with designing and implementing an office landscape with a strong focus on satisfying these particular requirements.
A large part of the office is dedicated to a host of different settings for both formal and informal meetings: The comfortable PORTS Lounge Chairs are arranged in a small circle, affording space for retreat or to exchange ideas with colleagues. CASUAL Benches High with the matching tables also transform the kitchen area into an ideal meeting place. In addition, the Bench Low version and CASUAL Lounge Chair provide functional and comfortable meeting environments.
Individual workstations were designed with height-adjustable desks and ergonomic, extremely adaptable RIYA office chairs to ensure that people can keep moving, even during long working days.
When it comes to versatile office settings, the PARCS range, which boasts a wide variety of designs, is an absolute must – allowing people to take a time-out from the daily grind to recharge their batteries and work with colleagues to develop new ideas.
And sometimes, it simply boils down to the basics – a classic seminar or conference room, but just a little more ergonomic and better, with FLEX folding tables for flexible room settings and innovative FILO chairs.
"We worked with BENE to design a high-quality and flexible office space solution in the “FlexUnits” in Floridsdorf’s TwentyOne business quarter. In addition to the individual offices, which are used as places of retreat and for focused work, it was also important for us to create a series of collaborative areas and spacious, state-of-the-art meeting rooms. BENE took care of the entire planning stage of the project, from the colour concept and the selection of ergonomic furniture right through to the acoustics. The delivery and assembly of the finished furnishings was also handled professionally. We’re absolutely thrilled with the outcome and would like to say a huge thank you to BENE for ensuring that this project was executed so smoothly."
